False Friends

^{Photography series
2022-2025}

False Friends is a series of 21 photographs made underneath beds.
These spaces are overlooked domestic zones defined by
a shared topological structure between floor, walls, and mattress.
Each space develops its own distinct configuration shaped by time and accumulation
while seeming deceptively familiar. The series engages with
misrecognition and ambiguity by presenting environments that feel known.
